Talent is underrated: Michael Jordan edition

“I’ve failed over and over and over again in my life and that is why I succeed.”…Micheal Jordan

This fail until you succeed mantra is nonsense. The ultimate irony in this statement is that Micheal Jordan did not fail until he succeeded. He was a quitter. He quit baseball.  Even he recognized that his persistence only pays off in a field that he is naturally talented in. If he really believed that hard work trumped everything then he would have stuck with baseball. But he did not. He was not a naturally gifted baseball player. He practiced very hard in the batting cage. He tried his best. He still was not good. You know why??……………………………..because lacked the TALENT!! So please find your talent and work hard in that. Screw the rest.
